Moray Council and third sector organisation tsiMoray have teamed up to organise the workshop, which is aiming to look at Poverty and Social Inclusion Challenge Fund and how to develop projects using grants from it.

Both charities and public sector bodies can receive funding to deliver projects in the Moray area for a poverty and social inclusion strategy. Up to £500,000 of European Social Funds are available for this purpose.

The European funding available will cover 80 per cent of the eligible costs.

The workshop, which will take place via Zoom, will get under way at 10am on Thursday, July 29. To register, visit https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/

For more information on the fund itself, go to www.moray.gov.uk

The deadline for applications to the Challenge Fund is Friday, August 27 at 5pm.
