Forres drugs raid - on Mannachie Terrace - results in 59-year-old woman’s arrest

A 59-year-old woman was arrested after a weekend drugs bust at a Forres home.

Around seven police vehicles were spotted outside a property on Mannachie Terrace on Saturday, May 31.

Police confirmed that drugs with a street value of £3000 were recovered and a woman was taken into custody.

A Police Scotland spokesperson: "On Saturday, May 31, officers acting under warrant entered and searched a property in Mannachie Terrace, Forres.

“A quantity of drugs, worth an estimated street value of £3000, was recovered.

“A 59-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the recovery.

“She has been released pending further inquiry."

A police presence was spotted at the property on Monday evening.
