Moray - where the flood risks are

In response to forecasts of further poor weather Moray Council says there is potential for flooding in our area.

The local authority has warned that the northern entrance to the village of Dallas may become impassable later today.

In addition, it states there is a risk on sections of the River Lossie and the Sheriffmill area of Elgin.

A spokesperson said: “Take care if you're travelling over the next few days - there’s a yellow weather warning in place for rain and snow across Moray and further afield.

“Follow Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for all active flood warnings, Police Scotland North East and Traffic Scotland.”
