A96 crash near Huntly results in two being taken to hospital in Elgin and Aberdeen





Two people have been taken to hospital after a three-car collision on the A96.

The road has been closed in Huntly - at the Asda roundabout - after the crash, which took place before 11am today (Wednesday, May 28).

An air ambulance and three ambulances were called to the scene and one casualty was flown to Aberdeen while another was driven to Elgin.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 10.50am to attend a three-car road traffic collision on the A96 to the west of Huntly.

“One patient was transported by air to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and one patient by road to Dr Gray’s Hospital.”
