Aberdeen to Inverness train line closed with flood alert in place for Findhorn, Nairn, Moray and Speyside

THE Inverness to Aberdeen train line has been closed due to flooding.

A flood alert was put in place on Wednesday afternoon for Findhorn, Nairn, Moray and Speyside.

Overnight, there has been some flooding in Forres – with Clovenside Cemetery, behind Forbeshill, hit badly.

Elsewhere, flood warnings – a step up from a flood alert, have been put in place for Cawdor, Nairn and Sluggan to Dulnain Bridge.
