Moray fire – Six engines called to blaze in Forres





A detached home in Moray has been left gutted by a fire which broke out earlier today.

Fire crews are currently still at Brodie Place in Forres after being called to the scene shortly before 1pm.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 12.54pm on Wednesday, 4 June, to reports of a fire affecting a domestic property on Brodie Place in Forres.

“Operations Control mobilised six fire appliances to the scene, and crews remain in attendance.

“There are no reported casualties.”
