ADVICE sessions for charities seeking funding from the Robertson Trust will be available near the end of the month.
Registered charities that support people who are experiencing poverty and/or trauma can book an appointment on Wednesday, September 29 with the trust to discuss any queries they have in relation to their Small Grants and Large Grants programme.
Both programmes provide funds to support an organisation's core work.
To be eligible for funding an organisation must be a registered charity that supports people who are experiencing, or at risk of poverty and/or trauma. This should be a core element of the organisation’s work and applicants should be able to demonstrate how their work prevents or mitigates the effects of poverty and/or trauma on people's lives.
The applicant organisation’s annual income determines which revenue grant it can apply for: Between £25,000-£100,000 Small Grant only; Between £101,000 - £2 million Large Grant only.
This is based on the money an organisation received in the last financial year, as shown in its most recently completed annual accounts.
