THE SNP's Richard Lochhead has been declared the winner in Moray at this year's Scottish Parliamentary Election.
Mr Lochhead, who has been Moray's MSP since 2006, increased his majority from 2875 to 3164.
Screening in over Zoom due to his period of self-isolation, Mr Lochhead said it was "an honour" and vowed to represent everyone in Moray, irrespective of who they voted for.
The SNP's vote share increased by 1.5 per cent – with the turnout up more than 10 per cent across the area.
The Conservatives also increased their vote share, by 2.4 per cent, but Tim Eagle fell short by more than 3000 votes.
Labour finished in third place, with Jo Kirby securing 2972 votes, Sheila Ritchie (Lib Dems) received 1165 votes and Robert Stephenson (UKIP) got 188.
Both the Lib Dems and Labour recorded reduced vote shares when compared with 2016.
