Forres snow scenes captured by Gazette readers





Families are making the best of the frrrreezing weather in-and-around Forres.

Ch-ch-ch-children in particular - especially at Applegrove and Forres Academy which were forced to shut early - have been enjoying the snow.

Grant Park and the golf course were packed with kids sledging at the weekend while Snowmen (and snowwomen) have been appearing in gardens all over the area.

The cold snap, which started at new year following an unusually mild Christmas, is forecast to continue.

A yellow weather warning has been expected, with snow showers to continue throughout Wednesday and Thursday.
