The Raven in question is a female Welsh cross who is now ready to start the search for her forever home.

Raven is hoping to trot off to her forever home soon.
Raven is hoping to trot off to her forever home soon.

When she arrived into the care of the SSPCA Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, it was very clear that she did not view humans as friends. With some time and patience Raven has made good progress with her handling.

She is a friendly mare who is usually one of the first to come up to you in the field to say hello. Although Raven has come on leaps and bounds she is still in need of ground work and more handling. Due to her background Raven is looking for an experienced owner to help build her confidence.

She would love to be rehomed as a companion pony. She currently lives in a small herd with mares and would like to be rehomed with at least one other horse or pony. Raven is used to living out all year round.

If you can give Raven the perfect new home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/4398-raven-california
