A peace vigil will be held at Pluscarden Abbey on Monday to pray for an end to the many conflicts around the world such as in Gaza and Ukraine.
People of all faiths and none are invited to the event which will begin at 11.15am.
Candles will be lit during what will be a mainly silent vigil, with speechmaking kept to a minimum.
Wilfred Masih is a pastor with the Seventh Day Adventists who meet in St Giles Church in Elgin.
He said: “You can either choose to do nothing or you can chose to do something. We’ve chosen the option to have this vigil.
“People are very welcome to come along.”
The peace vigil is being held in partnership with Interfaith Moray on Monday, June 24. It is expected to last about an hour.
