JOBSEEKERS across Moray will have an opportunity to see what is up for grabs in the region and beyond at a virtual jobs fair.

The virtual recruitment event will feature a 45-minute intensive period of vacancy and opportunity information aimed at Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) customers. During the jobs fair the main aim is to post a tweet every minute during the period, sometimes even two.

Forres-based DWP employer and partnership manager Jane Munro said: "The online Jobsfair will take place on Thursday, January 28 between 11am and 11.45am.

"This is part of a Northern District Twitter Takeover day where Jobcentres from Buckie to Portree and Fort William to Lerwick will be advertising local vacancies throughout the day.

The day also includes sessions by Developing the Young Workforce Moray and Skills Development Scotland.

"For this event, we have a range of vacancies available within different sectors, we are also including information and advice on what type of roles are available, so lots of information is available via this online event. "

Ms Munro added that employers who wished to advertise jobs vacancies during the fair should get in touch with her.

To join the jobs fair go to @JCPinNorthScot

It is necessary to have a Twitter account to participate and DWP customers who do not have internet access should inform their Jobcentre.
