Two people injured after accidents in Forres and Kinloss

TWO people were taken to hospital after car crashes in the Forres area this week.

The first collision saw two vehicles come together outside the Carisbrooke Hotel, in Forres, on Sunday. A light blue Mazda was left at the scene.

The second crash, involving a truck and a car, took place outside Kinloss Barracks on Monday.

Both crashes saw one man taken to hospital, but neither have serious injuries.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 12.35pm on Sunday, August 30, we received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the junction of Drumduan Road and Drumduan Gardens in Forres.

"One man was taken to hospital for treatment to a non-serious injury.

"At around 4.20pm, on Monday, August 31, we received reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a truck and a car on Main Road, Kinloss, just outside the Kinloss Barracks.

“A 52-year-old man was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital as a precautionary measure.

“The road reopened shortly after 8pm."
