Nairnshire hotel and restaurant Boath House near Auldearn set to relaunch in March under new management
A Nairnshire hotel and restaurant which was abruptly shut down at the start of the year is set to relaunch under new management.
Boath House, which was operating in the Georgian-era mansion near Auldearn, closed doors unexpectedly at the end of January after customers were contacted to cancel their bookings at a very short notice - with its Facebook page also being shut down.

However last weekend the page was reopened with the announcement of a relaunch event this weekend as the venue has passed to new management.
The post on Facebook read: “Boath House opens a new chapter in March 2025, led by a fresh, in-house management group.
“We’re excited to bring new energy to this timeless Highland retreat, creating a place of warmth & connection.
“We're thoughtfully reimagining every aspect of the Boath House experience with our community at heart, creating a sanctuary where both neighbours and those visiting this incredible corner of the world can gather, connect, and create lasting memories.
“We look forward to welcoming you back.”
To mark the reopening, the historic venue will host a craft and farmers market on Saturday, March 8, between 10am and 4pm, with more than 35 local vendors a piper, fiddle player in the Garden Café and whiskey tasting involved.
