Police seize cannabis cultivation worth £900,000 on industrial estate

Police made the discovery in Eyemouth on Thursday (PA)

Police have seized a cannabis cultivation worth an estimated £900,000 after searching premises on an industrial estate.

Officer made the discovery at the estate on Coldingham Road in Eyemouth, in the Scottish Borders, on Thursday.

A 47-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and will appear in court in due course, police said.

Detective Sergeant Barry Roebuck said: “We know the misery that drug misuse can cause in our local communities and we work tirelessly to tackle this issue and disrupt the drugs trade in Scotland.”
