Moray event Motorfun returns to Elgin – A free day of cars, BMX stunts and entertainment
Cooper Park will be the venue on Sunday for Rotary Elgin’s annual Motorfun and Family Fun Day.
This community event, now in its 20th year, is renowned for its spectacular display of classic cars and modern show-and-shine vehicles, including, for the first time this year, lorries and tractors.
It's a chance to admire meticulously maintained machines and chat with their passionate owners.
Beyond the impressive motor display, the event boasts a full programme of entertainment designed to keep the entire family engaged.
Headlining the day will be a BMX bikes display team, promising daredevil stunts and gravity-defying tricks.
Local talents will also take to the stage, with performances from Elgin Pipe Band, Moray Concert Brass, Greenwards choir, Buckie High School Fiddlers and vocalist Ellie Dunbar.
For younger visitors, there will be fairground rides and funfair attractions, alongside various pre-school and P1-7 fun races.
A wide array of trade and charity stands and numerous food vendors will also be on site, including Rotary Elgin's own barbecue.
The event kicks off at noon on Sunday, June 9, and runs until 4pm. Free entry.
Note that registration for the show and shine section has now closed.
Details for entering the other categories can be found by going to the ticketsource.co.uk website and typing ‘rotary elgin motorfun’ into the search box.
