The case was heard at Inverness Sheriff Court.

Speaking at Inverness Sheriff Court, fiscal depute Emily Hood said that, when arrested, Reid told the police he was attempting to pay off a drugs debt. Therefore, he had agreed to collect the package for an unknown man.

Reid, who’s from Lhanbryde, added he was aware that he was involved in a drugs operation but didn't know how much money was involved.

He admitted a charge of acquiring and possessing criminal property.

His sentence was adjourned to April 1 for social workers to compile a report on his background. His bail was continued until then.
