Moray Council to provide free school meal support over half-term holiday

HOLIDAY support will be provided to Moray families receiving free school meals on the basis of low income over the forthcoming half-term holidays.

Families with a child attending primary school will receive £4.60 per child, which is two days at £2.30 per week day.

For families with a child at secondary school a payment of £4.80 per child will be made, which is two days at £2.40 per week day.

Moray Council will make direct payments into bank accounts on Tuesday, February 8 for the mid-term free school meal support payment.

Parents or carers who have changed their bank details since they received the last support payment should contact revenues@moray.gov.uk

A change in a family's financial circumstances could mean their child is eligible for free school meals. To check eligibility and how to apply by visiting www.moray.gov.uk

School children receiving free school meals due to universal access for P1-5 and pre-school children accessing Early Learning and Childcare are not eligible for these payments.

The half-term holidays from Friday, February 11 to Monday, February 14 inclusive.
