Mobility scooter user taken to hospital following Forres crash

POLICE are appealing for information after a 72 year old woman was injured in a collision on Saturday.

The crash, involving a van and a mobility scooter, occurred on Forres High Street, near the Victoria Hotel at around 7:15pm on Saturday March 12.

The driver of the van is still to be traced.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The 72-year-old female rider of the mobility scooter was taken by ambulance to Dr Gray's Hospital for treatment.

"The van driver left the scene prior to police arrival and enquiries are ongoing to trace the vehicle and driver.

"Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 3018 of 12 March, 2022."
