Man who died yesterday on A941 between Elgin and Rothes has been named

The 44-year-old man who sadly died in a road accident on the A941 yesterday morning has been named as Paul Fairbairn from Rothes.

His family has released the following statement through the police service.

They have said: "We would like to say thank you to all the emergency services and staff at Dr Gray's Hospital.

"Thank you to family and friends who have been in touch and the Highlanders MCC for their support.

"Paul will be sorely missed and we ask that our privacy is respected at this time."
