Elgin to Lossiemouth road collision leads to man’s arrest





A man has been arrested after a two-vehicle collision on a busy north-east road.

A car and a mini-van collided at the Muirton Junction on the A941 between Elgin and Lossiemouth at 12.40pm on Tuesday, October 22.

Police Scotland have now confirmed that a 41-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

A police spokesperson said: “At around 12.45pm on Tuesday, October 22, we received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A941.

“A 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a road traffic offence and enquiries are ongoing.”
