Moray Pathways to run volunteer marketplace at Forres Town Hall

Anyone looking to volunteer or discover employment opportunities is welcome to a special event during Volunteer Week.

Moray Pathways is running a volunteer marketplace at Forres Town Hall on Friday, June 6 from 1-2.30pm, aimed at recruiting help for local groups.

Attending charities and third sector organisations include Forres Area Community Trust, Forres Osprey Bus, Moray Firth Credit Union, Moray School Bank, Step by Step and The Gaff!.

Employability Team project officer, Jane Munro is looking forward to a good turnout of interested residents looking to offer their services.

“Could you offer some time to help a good cause and make a difference to the local community?,” she asked.

“Volunteering boosts your mood whilst giving back improves your wellbeing.

“Come along for local volunteering opportunities which will suit helping hands of all shapes and sizes.”
