THE Pet of the Week spotlight falls this time around on Xena, a female lurcher, who is between two and three years old.

Can you help young lurcher Xena find her forever home?
Can you help young lurcher Xena find her forever home?

At the moment this young lady is in the care of the Scottish SPCA Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming centre, ready and waiting to come zooming into her new home.

She is looking for a home that has experience with her breed, with the time to continue her socialisation and give her the positive reinforcement she needs.

Xena is quite a shy girl but soon comes out of her shell for a game of chase and a cuddle on the sofa.

As this girl loves to run around, her new home will need a secure garden so she can zoom freely and safely.

Xena would prefer an adult only home with no other animals so she can have all the attention to herself.

If you think you can give Xena her forever home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/3758-xena
