HOPING to trot off to his forever home is Pet of the Week Nash.

Looking for an experienced owner is Welsh pony Nash.
Looking for an experienced owner is Welsh pony Nash.

He is a male Welsh pony who is approximately 13.2 HH and is being cared for at the Scottish SPCA Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre at Drumoak, near Aberdeen.

As Nash is still quite young, between four and five years old, he is still in need of some handling and grounding work. He will ideally be a ridden pony in the future, so needs an owner who has experience working with younger horses. Novice owners would not be suitable.

Nash has recently been gelded so for the time being would not be suited to living with mares. However, this young chap does however enjoy the company of other horses so the perfect home would be one where he has a gelding friend.

If you think you fit the bill, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website at scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/3110-nash
