Fifty folk from Moray are being sought to take part in a unique photography project that uses pinholes cameras.

Each will be given a pinhole camera to put either in their garden or on a windowsill overlooking it.

They will then leave them there for two months.

The image each pinholes camera captures will be a record of both the place as well as the passing of time.

The project is called Northern Exposures and the pair behind it are Robbie Coleman and Jo Hodges, the latest artists-in-residence with Findhorn Bay Arts.

For those that don't know, a pinhole camera is the simplest type of camera possible.

It's basically a box which lets in no light except through a tiny hole in one side.

Over time the light burns an image on a piece of film positioned on the opposite side of the box.

At the end of the two-month Northern Exposures project, the photographs will be developed and displayed in an exhibition.
