The Department of Work and Pensions is currently working with UHI Moray to deliver a manufacturing course for Johnston's of Elgin.

The course is two weeks long and will allow DWP customers the opportunity to have an industry visit.

During the two weeks the customers will cover different a wide variety of skills, including first aid, team building and communication, health and safety, CVs and goal setting as well as mock interviews which will prepare the attendees for a job with the firm.

At the end of the course there is a guaranteed job interview.

Johnston's are keen to support all DWP customers and can offer different shift patterns and job share.

Anyone interested in attending should speak to their DWP work coach.
