Cyclist taken by air ambulance to Inverness after incident in Forres

A CYCLIST was flown to hospital after being found injured at Knockomie Braes in Forres.

The emergency services rushed to the male's aid after receiving a call from the person who discovered him.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 5.35pm on Tuesday May 3, police were called after a cyclist was found injured on Falconer Avenue.

"He was airlifted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where medical staff describe his condition as serious.

"Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are continuing."
