WITH many people set to return to work on Monday for the first time in three months, how will pets cope?

Many pets will be left feeling a bit lost when their mums and dads go back to work on Monday.

Having been used to getting love and attention pretty much on tap since the lockdown was imposed on March 23, it will be something of a wrench when their mums and dads head off for a good part of the day when their places of work reopen.

However, help is at hand for pet owners and those fostering animals on the BBC news website in the form of a short video explaining both the challenges as well as some simple solutions.

Separation anxiety is a major issue identified in the video, with experts suggesting ways of helping pets get over this.
