WORK is currently ongoing to upgrade the heating and lighting at Anderson's Primary School.

Members of the public have been wondering what exactly is going on at the school after a large hole appeared in the playground last week.

Moray Council have now confirmed that the final phase of work to upgrade the school's lighting and heating is ongoing.

The council is also undertaking remedial work to the foundations of the kitchen, which is a single storey extension to the rear of the school.

The works have been delayed from last summer due to the coronavirus pandemic, but have got under way shortly after pupils broke up for the holidays.
