Third road traffic accident in three days in Brodie area

THE EMERGENCY services attended the third road traffic accident on a local section of the A96 in five days yesterday.

A four-vehicle crash close to Hardmuir Fruit Farm at 3.35pm on Thursday July 14.

It follows a two-car crash then a two-car collision on Saturday, July 9 and Monday, July 11 respectively.

Commenting on yesterday's incident, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were made aware of a four-vehicle crash on the A96 at Wester Hardmuir around 3.35pm on Thursday, 14 July, 2022.

"Emergency services attended and the road was closed until around 5.05pm."

Both previous accidents occurred around Brodie.
