Forres premises sign up for comfort scheme

TWO premises in Forres have joined a scheme to provide free toilet access to the public.

Forres Community Centre and Forres Swimming Pool will have their toilet door open for any visitor during normal operating hours.

Toilets will be available to use free of charge and without obligation to purchase goods.

A total of 26 premises across Moray have signed up to the Moray Council scheme.

Chairman of Moray Council's Economic Development and Infrastructure board, Councillor Graham Leadbitter (Elgin City South, SNP), welcomed the participating businesses on board.

He said: "It is great to see members of the business community working in partnership with Moray Council to provide valuable comfort facilities for residents and visitors to the area."

Comfort scheme venues across Moray are as follows: Aberlour; Aberlour Hotel, Aberlour Library, Burghead; Station Hotel, Buckie; Moray Reach Out, Buckie Swimming Pool, Buckie Library, Time Restaurant, Cullen; Cullen Harbour, Elgin; Royal Hotel, Beaver Travel, Moray Council Annexe, Elgin Library, Elgin Community Centre, Fochabers; Milne’s Library, Forres; Forres House Community Centre, Forres Swimming Pool, Garmouth; Garmouth Hotel, Keith; Ugie House Hotel, Keith Community Centre/Swimming Pool, Keith Library, Keith Resource Centre, Lossiemouth; Stotfield Hotel, Outfit Moray, Lossiemouth Library, Lossiemouth Community Centre, Spey Bay; WDC Scottish Dolphin Centre.
