Forres man John McGrath accused of attempted murder in Aviemore appears at Inverness Sheriff Court

A Forres man has appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court accused with the attempted murder of a woman in Aviemore.

The charge against John McGrath alleges that the assault took place in McDonald's Highland Resort in August.

The 55-year-old was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
