Forres firm Recruitment Bee receives Silver Employer Recognition Award to recognise support for Armed Forces

A FORRES firm has received an award in recognition of the support it provides Moray's Armed Forces community.

Recruitment Bee is set to be officially presented with the Silver Employer Recognition Award by the Highland Reserve Forces and Cadets Association at a ceremony at Scone Palace on June 16.

Lorraine Westley, the firm's owner and founder, is a veteran, having served with the Royal Air Force, and has been part of the military community as a spouse of a serving member for more than 22 years.

It is therefore in Recruitment Bee’s DNA to help others in our Armed Forces community who moving into the job market, she explained.

"We work closely with local employers across Moray and the Highlands who are looking to attract talented people," Lorraine said.

"We are able to provide a strong understanding of the military skills and personal attributes our defence community bring to the world of work, helping employers recognise the skills it will bring to the workplace.

"This has resulted in successfully helping many service leavers, reservists, cadet instructors and military partners find their next role – and we strive to help many others over the years to come.
