This Friday will see Stephen Friel, Employee communications Manager with HSBC, deliver a virtual talk offering young people an insight into his own career in the sector to date.

The 28-year-old Glaswegian said: "I always joke I got into financial services by accident as at 23 years old I still hadn’t figured out what I wanted to do with my career.

"I was coaching tennis part-time but I knew it wasn’t what I wanted to do full-time. Since joining HSBC I’ve worked in mortgages, career development, financial crime and now communications and I’ve loved every minute of it.

"I’m looking forward to sharing my journey and the routes into/benefits of working in financial services."

This event is open to all young people, teachers and career influencers in Moray.

Mr Friel's talk will be delivered via Microsoft Teams and is scheduled to run from 12 noon-1pm.

To book a free ticket, visit Eventbrite. A link will be sent to registered participants prior to the talk.
