WHEN people come to see 'em, they really are a scre-am...

Film Forres Presents! (FFP) have organised a Halloween-themed screening of nineties classic, the Addams Family, at the town hall on Saturday.

Entry is £5, doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start and the whole community is invited to make it a spooktacular event to remember!

FFP spokesman Bob Kenny said: "We're asking our audience to come in fancy dress, ghostly, creepy, or generally Gothic. Home-made costumes are great but there's always Forres Fancy Dress on Bank Lane for those without the resources or time to make their own! We've ordered dry ice and dooking for apples is a distinct possibility."

There will be prizes for the best fancy dress costume as well as treats and surprises.

FFP invite groups or families to share food and drink to make the evenings more friendly, lively, and enjoyable.

Mr Kenny said: "Every second month we're planning to make a special effort to add extra atmosphere. For example, for the Addams Family screening, we've engaged participation from Varis Players who'll provide spooky extras by way of costumes and props.

"FFP shows feature films of community interest and include cabaret-style seating and the option to bring nibbles and alcohol.

"We've already shown Bohemian Rhapsody, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, A Star is Born, Rocketman and Blade Runner. We plan on screening Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Love Actually in the near future."

The Addams Family (PG, 99min) is a supernatural black comedy based on the 1964 TV series. See www.filmforres.co.uk for more information.
