A DRIVER was fined by police after he crashed into a field near Kinloss.

At around 11.25am on Monday, October 12, police and the fire service attended the incident involving a silver Ford Focus that had been travelling on the B9089 road.

The 50-year-old driver did not require medical treatment.

A police spokesperson said: "The road was closed for approximately 10 minutes.

"The driver was issued with a fixed penalty ticket in relation to alleged road traffic offences."
