A DRINK driver who crashed into a garden in Forres has been fined and banned from getting behind the wheel.

Daniel Luxon (29), of Glenelg Road, crashed into a garden in Morlich Square of Grant Drive at 12.55am on March 13 while intoxicated.

His vehicle collided with a fence and entered a garden where it hit the wall of a property.

Appearing at Elgin Sheriff Court on June 17, Luxon pleaded guilty to crashing into a property without stopping to provide details, failing to provide his identity and failing to do a breath test.

Luxon was suspended from driving for eight months and his driver's license was endorsed. He was fined £670.
