Moray man in court over Forres police incident

A 37-year-old has appeared in court following an incident which saw armed police cordon off a Forres street for hours.
Blair Cotter made no plea during the hearing at Elgin Sheriff Court yesterday.
The man, who lives at an address in Moray according to court documents, faces two charges of behaving in a “threatening or abusive manner” and allegedly breaching bail.
Cotter was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
He is set to appear again at Elgin Sheriff Court within eight days.
