ORGANISERS of a charity golf day have thanked the public for their help in raising more than £1500.
The event was held at Moray Golf Club at the end of May to donate cash to the SSAFA armed forced charity and Logan's Fund children's cancer charity.
A total of 73 players took to the fairways of the Lossiemouth links' new course and enjoyed a good day of weather for their participation.
A spokesperson for the event said: "A total of £1547.45 has been raised, which considering the economic impact from Covid 19 over the past 18 months it really is amazing to have had everyone’s support.
"These funds will contribute to the amazing and important work both charities do in our local community and further afield."
