Forres Health and Care Centre was targeted by vandals over the weekend.





Windows were smashed at a building crucial to the community over the weekend.

Significant damage was caused to Forres Health and Care Centre, including damage to its entrance doors.

Vehicles in the car park, including those belonging to nearby residents and a staff pool car, were also targeted.

A spokesperson for Health and Social Care Moray confirmed no one gained entry to the building.

She added: "We are appalled that Forres Health Centre has been targeted in this way.

“Repairs are underway today (Monday) and our colleagues have been working hard to minimise any disruption to patient care - appointments are continuing as normal.

"We are grateful to patients and staff for their continued support and would urge anyone with information about the vandalism to contact Police Scotland."

The Gazette asked Police Scotland for an update but they had not replied by the time of writing.
