The North Hop Festival is due back in September at the P&J Live.

It will be the first large-scale North Hop Festival to take place since 2018.

The featuring is set to 'hop' into Aberdeen’s P&J Live on Saturday, September 24, featuring a wide range of Scottish breweries, bars, makers, and street food stalls, offering tantalisingly tasty treats during two Saturday sessions – 1pm to 5pm or 6pm to 10pm.

Ticketholders will have the chance to meet Scottish craft beer and spirit makers with a wide array of gin, vodka, rum and botanical spirits on offer, as well as some amazing cocktails. Live music from a range of up-and-coming Scottish acts will entertain, ranging from acoustic artists to live bands.

Michelle Russell, North Hop Festival Director, said: “We can’t wait to see the much-anticipated return of a large-scale North Hop after what has been four long years.

"Known for its barn-like styling, relaxed vibe and friendly atmosphere, we are so pleased to launch our biggest ever festival – back better than ever! It’s just what we all need after two years of staying home – a summer to remember with friends, packed full of all the finest food, drink and music Scotland has to offer.

“We have an incredible line-up of food and drink producers this year, which will be announced over the coming months, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. From rare specialist distillers to bigger well-known and loved brands, it’s set to be a wonderful day out.”

The festival will feature a wide range of craft beers and spirits.

Ticketholders will also receive the famous North Hop glass on entry – something that has become somewhat of a collectable item since the festival’s inaugural event in 2014.

Claire-Lena Miller-Davis, Exhibition Sales Manager at P&J Live, commented: “It’s fantastic to see the return of North Hop Festival – something which was incredibly popular when it was hosted back at Aberdeen’s AECC.

"This is the first summer that we can enjoy freely with no Covid restrictions, and we can’t wait to make the most of it.”

Tickets, priced £18 plus fees, are on sale at www.ticketmaster.co.uk

North Hop Aberdeen is for persons 18 years and over.
