Police Scotland arrest teenager in connection with attempted murder of boy in Elgin





A 16-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a teenager in Elgin on Saturday, November 16.

A 15-year-old boy was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital for treatment after being seriously assaulted on Elgin High Street at around 7.20pm.

Police Scotland have arrested and charged a youth in connection with the incident.

The boy was later released after being treated.

The 16-year-old will appear at Elgin Sheriff Court today (November 19).

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
