FRASER 50 Years have passed since my father John Stronach Fraser passed away on 26th April, 1972, aged 60 years. Born and raised at Hanover Farm on the Cawdor Estate, he left the area during World War 2 to work in England where he settled but his heart was always in Scotland. A hardworking family man, he never achieved fame or glory like so many of us. His ashes are interred in his parents grave in Auldern Churchyard. The last line of his inscription reads 'Home at Last'. Remembered everyday by his son James, his other son Robert, died of cancer in 1988, aged 44 years.
