Founded by Matty Slinger, Phil Barton and Steven Simpson - all from Forres - following the death of a close friend by suicide.

The trio decided to create the team to give those struggling with their mental health a safe space to chat while getting some exercise.

Peter Taylor, retail director at Specsavers Elgin, says: “We are always happy to support local charities, so when the opportunity arose to sponsor Moray Mental Health, we jumped at the chance.

“By sponsoring the team, we are helping to highlight the importance of checking in on your friends and family, especially in the winter months.”

Matty Slinger, co-founder of the club, said: “We just want to say a massive thank you to Specsavers Elgin for sponsoring us.
