Dr Kimberley Masson graduated Phd in Social Anthropology from Edinburgh University. A former pupil of Forres Academy, she is now a researcher at Durham University and a lecturer at Edinburgh University.
Debbie Munro, daughter of Christine Gaskin, Forres, and James Fraser, Barnsley, has graduated BSc nursing (dist) from the University of Stirling. Debbie, a former Forres Academy pupil, is now working as a staff nurse at the Grove, Elgin.
Former Dyke Primary and Forres Academy pupil Lindsey Milne, daughter of Eddie Milne, and the late Sandra Milne, of Redcraig, Forres, has graduated Master of Pharmacy from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. Lindsey is now working her pre-registration year at Boots Pharmacy.
Iain Meldrum, son of Isabelle and Brett Meldrum, Elvin Place, Findhorn, graduated from Strathclyde University with a Masters in aeromechanical engineering (with distinction). The former pupil of Kinloss Primary and Forres Academy is due to start work with Rolls-Royce in September.
Iain Leslie graduated Master of Physics from Edinburgh University. Iain, younger son of Bill and Jane Leslie, 12 Highfield, Forres, is a former pupil of Anderson's Primary School and Forres Academy, where he was Senior Dux in 2003.
Andrew Leonard, 4 Edward Road, Forres, graduated in computer science from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. The former Kinloss Primary and Forres Academy pupil has a job with Thales in London, and recently completed a summer placement with the company.
Rachel Ludbrook, a former Forres Academy pupil, daughter of Jill Campbell of Fleurs Avenue, Forres, graduated with an MA (Hons) in English Literature from The University of Edinburgh. Rachel is currently teaching in Romania.
Ryan Miele, a former Forres Academy pupil, graduated from the University of Stirling with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology. Ryan is the son of Carlo and Fiona Miele.
Benjamin Ross Mowat, from Forres, graduated BEng (Hons) in building design and engineering from Strathclyde University. Benjamin, a former pupil of Anderson's Primary School and Forres Academy, is now working for Hypostyle Architects in Glasgow.
Sarah Leslie, a former pupil of Applegrove Primary and Forres Academy, and daughter of Steve and Susan Leslie, Alexandra Terrace, Forres, has graduated as a Bachelor of Education (Hons) in music from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Sarah is now teaching at Kirkintilloch High School.
Dr Andrew Murray BSc (Hons), son of Frances Murray, Kingsway, Forres, and grandson of Guilio and Margaret Miele, gained his PhD in Neuroscience at Aberdeen University. Andrew, who is a former pupil of Applegrove Primary and Forres Academy, is now working as a Research Fellow at Aberdeen University.
Dani Nicole Lapka graduated from Napier University, Edinburgh, with a BA with distinction in Business Studies with Marketing (Sandwich), and was the winner of the University Programme Medal.
Amy Mitchell, daughter of Alan and Doreen Thomson, Forbeshill, Forres, graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Care Upper Second Class from the Open University. Amy is a former pupil of Anderson's Primary and Forres Academy and is now living and working in Nairn as a community staff nurse.
James Masson, son of Scott and Sheila, Gateside Farm, Alves, has graduated in hotel and hospitality management from Glasgow's Strathclyde University. James is a former pupil of Forres Academy.
Ruth Mitchell, daughter of Howard and Val Mitchell, of Councillors Walk, Forres, graduated from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen with a Master of Pharmacy degree. Ruth, a former pupil of Anderson’s Primary School and Forres Academy, has commenced her pharmacy pre-registration year with Boots in Elgin.
