Lisa Grobleben, daughter of Jenny Austin, Ferryhill, Forres, and Wemer Grobleben, Rafford, graduated with a 2:1 Honours degree in Social Work from Robert Gordon University. A former pupil of Forres Academy, Lisa, now living in Aberdeen, is currently taking up a post with Aberdeenshire Council.
Shona Gilfillan graduated BSc (Hons) in applied psychology from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. Shona, who is the daughter of Sandra and Lawson, 3 Mackenzie Drive, Forres, attended Applegrove Primary and Forres Academy. She is off to Africa this summer as part of First Aid Africa.
Robin James, son of Ainsley and Alan James, graduated with a Joint MA (Hons) in History and Politics from the University of Glasgow. He is about to begin an MA in Broadcast Journalism at City University, London.
Kirsty Gallagher, daughter of Sean and Carolyn Gallagher, St Oswalds, Orchard Road, Forres, graduated B Ed (Hons) in primary education from Edinburgh University. Kirsty is a former pupil of Kinloss Primary and Forres Academy.
Stephen Gale, a former Anderson's Primary and Queen Victoria School pupil, son of Bill and Mary Gale, Drumduan Park, Forres, graduated MA (Hons) in English and Philosophy from the University of Dundee.
Patricia Gittins (nee McLean), formerly of Forres, graduated BA Hons in fine art from Bangor University in North Wales at the age of 59. Mrs Gittins attended Applegrove School in Forres before moving to Glasgow. She is the daughter of the late Alexander McLean and the late Mrs Katherine Taylor. One sister, Mrs Kathleen Masson, lives in Castle Street, Forres, and another, Mrs Marie Ewan, in Findhorn. Her brother, Alistair, lives in France. Patricia lives near Harlech with husband Glyn.
Christopher Hardie, son of Ian and Marion Hardie, of Ryvoan Place, Forres, graduated with a BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. The former pupil of Applegrove Primary and Forres Academy has now started work with Ritson Smith Chartered Accountants in Aberdeen.
Alex Innes, eldest son of Norman and Helen, Millbrae, Findhorn, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons First Class) in Automotive Design from Coventry University. Alex's classification included a professional enhancement award after industry internships with Alfa Romeo (where he was a world finalist in a Fiat styling competition) and Marcos sports cars. Alex is now working as a designer for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Goodwood.
Patricia Holmes, daughter of Ruby and the late Harold Watson, gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. Patricia, a former pupil of Forres Academy, is also a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
Claire Hester, youngest daughter of Alison and Les Hester, of Forres, graduated from Reading University with a Master of Science degree in nutrition and food science, with Merit.
Erin James, daughter of Alan and Ainsley James, graduated from Strathclyde University with an MSc in Human Resource Management. This follows her joint BA (Hons) degree in Psychology and Human Resource Management from Stirling University. Erin is now working for Mercer, HRM consultancy in London.
Edward Gregson, son of Michael and Anne Gregson, Forres, graduated from the University of Stirling with a BA (Hons) in Philosophy. He is a former pupil of Applegrove Primary School and Forres Academy.
Lindsay Grant, Erradale, Rafford, gained a BSc (hons) in business studies and psychology from the University of Stirling. Lindsay is a former pupil of Anderson's Primary School and Forres Academy.

Craig Harper, son of Cammy and Edna Harper, 18 Mannachie Grove, Forres, graduated from Aberdeen University with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Studies (Sport and Society). Craig, who is a former pupil of Kinloss Primary School and Forres Academy, is now doing a PGDE Secondary Physical Education teaching year at Edinburgh University.
Jill Goodall, 138 Forbeshill, Forres, graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a BEd (Hons) Primary. Jill, who is a former pupil of Anderson's Primary and Forres Academy, will start her teaching career at East End Primary, Elgin.
Emma Hughes, a former Anderson's Primary and Forres Academy pupil, graduated from Glasgow University with MB ChB. Emma, who is the daughter of Fran and Al Hughes, Templestones, Rafford, is now working at the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley.
Lee-Anne Hay, a former Dallas Primary School pupil, graduated from Napier University, Edinburgh, with a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Law, and was the winner of the University Programme Medal. Lee-Anne, who is the daughter of Hector and Lorna Hay, The Cottage, Dallas, also attended Forres Academy.
Fiona Geddes, daughter of Margaret Geddes, from Darnaway, and John Geddes, from Forres, graduated with a BA in acting from East 15 Acting School, University of Essex. Fiona, who is a former pupil of Rosebrae, Aberlour House and Forres Academy, now lives in London.
Laura Libby Hourston, a former Forres Academy pupil, graduated from the University of St Andrews with an MA (Hons) in International Relations. Laura is the daughter of David and Nancy Hourston, Burnside of Califer, Forres. She is working for a charitable organisation in Manhattan, New York.
Charles Hector Hepple, a former pupil of Applegrove Primary School and Forres Academy, graduated from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, with a BEng (Hons). The son of Ann and Tom Hepple, Castlehill Manse, Forres, he is now working in the offshore oil industry.
Joanne Samantha Gimenez, of St Leonard's Road, Forres, graduated BDes (Hons) in interior architecture from Napier University, Edinburgh. Joanne, a former pupil of Applegrove Primary School and Forres Academy, is the daughter of John and Sally Gimenez.
Laura Anne Harper, daughter of Edna and Camy Harper, 18 Mannachie Grove, Forres, graduated from Edinburgh University with a B.Ed (Hons) degree in Physical Education. Laura, who is 22 and a former pupil of Kinloss Primary School and Forres Academy, plans to go into teaching and has her first teaching post at Dunoon Academy.

Nikki Johnstone, son of Alan and Anni Johnstone, Highfield, Forres, graduated from Liverpool’s John Moore’s University BA (Hons) in Physical Education, Sport and Dance with qualified teacher status. Nikki, a former pupil of Nairn Academy, has started a teaching post as head of PE at an international school in Cologne, Germany.
Scott Geddes, Archiestown, son of Malcom and Lynn, from Forres, graduated from Edinburgh University with a Masters in Environmental Chemistry with first class honours. Scott has now gone to the the USA where he has been accepted by the University of Vermont in Burlington to teach and study for a PhD in environmental chemistry.
Andrew S. Holder, son of Andrew and Jackie Holder, North Road, Forres, has passed his basic training at RAF Halton, Buckinghamshire. Andrew (23), a former pupil of Applegrove Primary and Forres Academy, is now training to be a physical training instructor at RAF Cosford, Shropshire.
