Clare Brennan, BSc in Forensic Psychobiology and PgC in Forensic Psychology, a former pupil of Abbeylands Primary School (Kinloss) and Forres Academy, graduated from Dundee and Stirling Universities with a MSc in Psychological Therapies in Primary Care. She is now working with NHS Tayside as a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology. Clare is the daughter of Tom and Aileen Brennan.
Fiona Batty, daughter of Dorothy and Ian, graduated BSc (Hons) in environmental geoscience from the University of Edinburgh. She is a former pupil of Dyke Primary School and Forres Academy.
Anna Anderson, daughter of George and Isobel, Forres, graduated from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, with a Bachelor of Paediatric Nursing degree. Anna has been appointed to a graduate rotational programme at Guy's-St Thomas' Hospital, Westminster, London.
Sally Copeland, daughter of Alan and Sue Copeland, 1 Bailies Road, graduated from Stirling University with an Honours degree in English. The former Forres Academy pupil is now returning to Stirling to study for a Masters degree.
Hussain Ahmed, son of Shabaru Ali and Hasna Fhanom, Pilmuir Road, Forres, graduated 2.1 Business Studies from the University of Stirling. The former pupil of Applegrove Primary and Forres Academy is currently working in the family business, and hopes to travel to Europe and Far East Asia. He hopes to work in the charitable sector.
Helen Campbell, a former Forres Academy pupil, graduated MA (Hons) in theatre studies from Glasgow University. Helen is now going on to study for a Postgraduate Diploma of Education (Secondary Teaching) at Jordanhill, Glasgow.
Stacey Ashworth graduated BA in graphic design from Gray's School of Art at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. Stacey is the daughter of Jack and Bev Ashworth, Mannachie Grove, Forres.
Adam Bain, a former Anderson's Primary and Forres Academy pupil, son of Hugh and Catherine Bain of "Springfield" Croft Road, Forres, graduated from Heriot-Watt University with a Masters in electronic and electrical engineering with distinction. He will be working with Scottish and Southern Energy within their power systems graduate programme.
Campbell Brennan, a former pupil of Abbeylands Primary School, Kinloss, and Forres Academy, has graduated from the Glasgow College of Maritime Studies (Merchant Navy). He has now taken up a post as Third Officer with Northlink Ferries.
Raymond Black, son of Colin and Yvonne Black, Forres, graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a BA in Humanities and Social Science. Raymond is a former pupil of Anderson's Primary School and Forres Academy.
Jennifer Clark, a former pupil of Anderson's Primary School and Forres Academy, graduated from Strathclyde University with a BEd. (Hons). Jennifer, who is the daughter of Richard and Aileen Clark, White Road, Forres, is now teaching in Paisley.
Sarah Marie Batty, a former pupil of Dyke Primary School and Forres Academy, gained a 2:1 honours degree in sociology from Edinburgh University. Sarah is the daughter of Ian and Dorothy Batty, Dyke.
Maxine Bowdler, a former Applegrove Primary School and Forres Academy pupil, graduated from Staffordshire University with a Foundation degree in Creative Industries (Distinction).
Michael James Aldridge graduated as a Master of Engineering in product design from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. Michael, a former pupil of Forres Academy, is the son of Malcolm and Jean Aldridge, Grantown Road, Forres.
Dr Simon J. Clark, a former Forres Academy pupil, graduated with a doctorate in philosophy. He previously graduated BSc (Hons) from the University of Aberdeen, before completing three years of research in immunology at Linacre College in Oxford. His parents, Lena and John Clark, now live in Aberdeen, while his grandmother was the late Mrs Irene Bachlajewics (née Munro), from Urquhart Street, Forres.
Peter Campbell, a former Applegrove Primary School and Forres Academy pupil, graduated BA (Hons) in business studies from Napier University, Edinburgh. Peter is the son of Eileen and James Campbell, Sanquhar Road, Forres, and is now working as an analyst for an investment bank in Edinburgh.
Sara Brockbank, daughter of Richard and Diana Brockbank, Bay Cottage, Findhorn, graduated BSc in equine sports with 1st class honours from Nottingham Trent University. Sara, a former pupil of Moray Steiner School and Forres Academy, also obtained distinction in Equine Bowen treatment, and will be setting up in practice in Stirling.
Faye Burge graduated BSc (Hons) in applied Sports Science from Edinburgh University. Faye, a former pupil of Anderson's Primary School and Forres Academy, is the daughter of Anne Burge, Mannachie Rise, and the late Robert Burge. She is to begin a Masters degree in physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in October.
Jason Chester, grandson of Rose and the late George Chester, Glebe Road, Kinloss, has graduated BA (Hons) in creative and media writing and film studies from Middlesex University, with a special award for outstanding achievement.
Kirsty Boyle, daughter of Tony and Lesley Boyle, The Hillock, Dallas, graduated from Napier University, Edinburgh, with a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Journalism. Kirsty is a former pupil of Anderson’s Primary School and Forres Academy and is currently the assistant media relations officer for The Scottish Parliament.
Cameron Stuart Chisholm, son of Alan and Jennifer Chisholm, Alexandra Terrace, Forres, graduated from the University of Stirling with a BSc (Hons) in Computing Science. Cameron, a former pupil of Anderson’s Primary and Forres Academy, begins a graduate technical consultancy position in the south of England later this month.
Angela Bowen, Orchard Road, Forres, graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MA in French and Business Studies with First Class Honours and distinction in Oral French. Angela, who is a former pupil of Anderson’s Primary School and a former dux of Forres Academy, is the daughter of Lorna and Richard Bowen and the grand-daughter of the late Bunty and Allan MacMillan.
