Emma, who has just graduated from Aberdeen University with a PGDE (S) Drama (Distinction) is returning to live with her husband in Manchester, where she will teach drama. As far as is known, this is the first Quaker wedding held in the area in living memory – her parent's wedding in 1975 being the first Quaker wedding in the Highlands in 200 years, although it was recorded in Forres.
