Jill Watson, a former Pilmuir Primary and Forres Academy pupil, graduated from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, with a BSc (Hons) 1st Class in Dietetics, adding to her Modern Languages BA (Hons) degree. Jill, who is the daughter of Alastair Watson, Pilmuir Road, Forres, is now working as a dietician at York Hospital.
Dr Katherine Wilson, a former Forres Academy pupil, daughter of Anne Wilson, 43 Birkenhillock Road, Forres, graduated Ph D in medieval history from Glasgow University. She is currently working at Ghent University in Belgium, and will be taking up a position as a teaching fellow at the Medieval History Department of St Andrews University.
Matthew Wilson, a former pupil of Anderson's Primary School and Forres Academy, graduated with a masters degree in Chemistry from Edinburgh University. Son of Arlene and Graeme Wilson of Sanquhar Road, Matthew is studying for a PhD at the university.
Ewen Watson, son of Bob and Liz Watson, St Ronans Road, Forres, a former Applegrove Primary School and Forres Academy pupil, graduated BA (Hons) in Social Science from Moray College UHI.
Sophie Ward, daughter of Jeremy and Eva Ward, Cromarty Court, Findhorn, has graduated BA (Hons) in social sciences from Napier University in Edinburgh. Sophie is a former pupil of the Moray Steiner School and Forres Academy.
Gemma Walker, of Woodside Drive, Forres, has graduated BSc (Hons) in microbiology from the University of Aberdeen. She is a former pupil of Applegrove Primary School and Forres Academy.
Lindsay Wright, daughter of Don and Val Wright, Grianan, St Leonard’s Road, Forres, graduated from Edinburgh University with an MA with First Class Honours in Business Studies and Economics. Lindsay is a former pupil of Forres Academy.
Lindsay Weir, 72 Mannachie Grove, Forres, graduated from The Open University with Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Health and Social Care is. Lindsay works as a staff nurse in the Day Case Unit, Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.
Alistair Wilson, son of Peter and Heather Wilson, St Leonard's Road, Forres, graduated from Edinburgh University, with a masters degree (first class honours) in Chemical Engineering. Alistair, a fomer pupil of Applegrove Primary and Forres Academy, was one of five chemical engineering graduates from all over the UK to receive the Salter's Graduate Award.
Jessica Wilson, daughter of Peter and Heather Wilson, St Leonard's Road, Forres, graduated from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, with a BSc (first class honours) in Actuarial Mathematics. Jessica, a fomer pupil of Applegrove Primary and Forres Academy, was awarded the Watt Club Medal for being the highest-scoring student on the course.
