A SCHOOL girl from Forres will represent Scotland in a British natural beauty pageant.

Having won the Little Miss Sparkle Junior Miss Scotland 2019 in May, Violet-Rose Haggan (6) is now aiming to bring the Miss United Elite UK 2020 crown back to Moray.

Violet's mum Samantha McNeill knows she will enjoy herself at the contest, no matter what the result is.

She said: "Violet-Rose is very excited and delighted to be picked as a finalist. She loves doing the pageants so much, making new friends and feeling like a princess for the day. They are such amazing opportunities for her and this time, she's representing her country!

"She is very proud of herself and keeps asking me when the next one is!"

Miss United Elite UK is an "all-natural" event – there is no make-up so the judges are looking for "true beauty".
